A building must meet a function and uses that are constantly changing.
In the “Studio”, each project is conceived with a particular intention to the public space and according to its environment. While technical constraints may be similar in different parts of the world, attention to how people live, cultural context and landscape transforms the essence itself.
We act more like researchers and we take an approach between art and science, where we are rigorous, while allowing ourselves to try and let the best of intuition. Each project is unique, to which corresponds a singular creative answer. ” the Studio gives a particular attention to the line, elegance and a certain rigor of forms. Just as the material is used in a raw way, it must be authentic and sincere, according to a specific function. Moreover, we often starts our projects by writing, before drawing in multiple notebooks. The concept and the original drawing are fundamental, even to a progress of the building enriched with thousands of plans and models.

He oversaw large-scale projects such as the Abdali Gate’s twin towers in Amman, the Kleber avenue offices in Paris, AXA PE headquarter Place Vendôme and urban developments in La Defense. It is illustrated with large scale cultural buildings like the national theater, the archives and the national library of the Sultanate of Oman. More recently, with the construction of the Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons headquarter and the Form Hotel tower, which received the 2018 AHEAD Awards “Concept Hotel of the Year”.
Amar Sabeh el Leil participates in the diffusion of architecture and contemporary art questioning the way of building the city. With his former partners of Architecture-Studio, were gathered, during the Biennales of Venice, architects and artists of different generations and nationalities, at the CA’ASI, in the Palazzo Santa Maria Nova. In a few years, the CA’ASI, became a place of reference with remarkable exhibitions: La Nouvelle Architecture Chinoise, Dans le Palais de Cristal, Young Arab Architects, Construction Ahead, Young Architects in Africa, Villes Africaines en Mouvement, Mission Trans-Missions et « Suite » Valérie Jouve.
